I did not know that.

I got this info from a 10/1/18 Sports Collectors Daily article written by Bob D'Angelo "Some great wrestling ancestral lines can be found in this set. Prince Maiava (No. 72) is the grandfather of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson". Someone advised me that this may not be correct

From google:
Is Peter Maivia's blood related to the rock? Maivia was the grandfather of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson via adoption, and was also part of the famous Anoaʻi family via blood brother pact. |
This is Neff Miavia.
Peter Miavia (Rock's Grandad) didn't start wrestling until 1960, a few years after the Parkhurst Set was released. If you want to get a good look at Peter, check out his fight scene with Sean Connery in 'You Only Live Twice'. Neff was very popular in Hawaii and Peter took his last name from Neff when he debuted. The two were tag team partners at one time as well. |

Before my time.

He was before my time too. As evidenced by my thread in the All Sports subforum I have a strong interest in '50s and '60s wrestling.
