Autographs and Covid

With all the nice autographed items coming up to auction I am wondering if the Covid pandemic is making any of you less likely to bid on higher end items (say over $500) or more likely to liquidate you collection. This can be due to loss of income, econimic forcast or whatever. let me know your thoughts

I'm amazingly lucky in my situation. Still being paid for work and I'm single with my only "child" being a cranky nearly 11 year old cat.

Self-employed and just lost my biggest client, 90% of my business. Looking into stimulus help but I seem to fall right in between all the cracks. Have filed and fingers crossed. Hopefully temporary, but expecting to be down at least until June 1. Have some reserve but expect I'll draw it down during the down time.

Complete stop on buying for me. Never thought about liquidation and would never sell in a panic...at least at this point.

Interestingly everything that I have sold recently has been under $10/item and even so quite slow.

Self employed too. Customer of 100% cut contract in March. Since I also use an LLC, I am trying anything, EIDL, PPP, and unemployment. Two weeks and no return emails or call backs. And 2 adult kids home that vacuum food from the fridge. Still will buy stuff at $50 a week. Lots of Ty Cobb checks on eBay....would love to afford one....just not now. Would be nice to start trading instead of buying.
