E104/92 Najda question

Posted By: leon
OK all of you caramel guru's....this should stir a little debate......we sure need some on these 2 new websites....I am about to fall asleep.....come on let's have some good ole' fashioned nose bloodying....well not quite but ya'll know what I mean.....maybe it's the Sept. 11th deal....sure has affected me and how I think....but I degress......back to cards....according to some sources the E104's all have capital blue letters under their captions on their obverses. Why is it that SGC graded one that did not have this characteristic? Who has some e104's that have other than a blue caption? I am taking this info from an old book/resource and am thinking new evidence has shown something different...so what is the story? Also, what is the story with them being E104's and not part of E92? ....and blank backs being called "Nadja"'s?...How do they know?..I, and a few others, are curious...take a look

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1015230240

best regards

Posted By: petecld
The E104 Wagner is th same pose as is found in the E90-2 set, not the E92, so hopefully they would have at least caught that.

With a blank back it is impossible to tell what set it was intended. Of course why let a silly thing like facts keep a grading company from making a submitter happy. The submitter probably put "Nadja" on the invoice and when faced with a judgement call SGC just refers to the invoice - just my opinion. I don't know what steps they would actually take, if any, and how they determined it was a Nadja.

Hey, at least they didn't call it a proof!
