A friend's father-in-law gave him this baseball. Can you help me identify these two autographs?

Kevin Youkilis?

Thank you for this idea. From other pictures of Youkilis’ autograph, I don’t think either of the signatures matches his. I’d be grateful for additional ideas! Thank you.

Leonard Coleman was the NL president from 1994-1999. That may help narrow it down. It seems pretty clear that the top autograph begins with a "K." Here's a list of players through the years whose first name starts with that letter (I don't know if it's complete). To me, the last name looks as though it starts with an "F." I was thinking maybe Keith Foulke, as he was with the Giants in '97. But that doesn't seem to be a match. Anyway, here's the list, and maybe you can find something for that top signature: http://www.sportsfy.com/baseball-pla...st-name-k.html

The top one looks like Keith Lockhart.

And, I think the bolder one in black is Andres Galarraga.

I think Lockhart looks pretty good. Here's a known example from '98. Not sure about Galarraga, though.

OK. Galarraga is a bit inconsistent with his signature, but this one looks pretty good. So it appears to be Keith Lockhart and Andres Galarraga, and we can narrow it down to the 1998 Braves, as that's the only season they were teammates when the Coleman ball was in use. Nice job, Steve D!

That’s fantastic, both Steves! I really appreciate this. The father-in-law who passed along this ball spent his latter life in the ATL, so boom! Thank you. Doug
