Homemade, Vintage Baseball Postcards

I posted this in another thread, as I just now put it on my personal collection site. I have had it a short while. It got me to thinking, I would like to see some other homemade, vintage, baseball postcards. And others might like this one too...I would guess it's unique and would also guess, that is his signature. I didn't write it on there!!

At the risk of sounding stupid, how do you determine that this is homemade? I don't doubt that you are correct, but (to me anyways) is looks like it took more effort to produce than would be expected in 1952 or earlier.

Maybe I used the wrong term for what I meant. Yes, the Mathews postcard is a manufactured product. But to me, it looks like it was some sort of booklet or notepad cover, used as a postcard. I can't imagine (not positive), when produced, it was meant to be a postcard. Otherwise, something like this (*shown before) is more true to the term "homemade". Ironic they are both from 1952

That first one looks like it has a seal sticker, so probably a folded over postcard with an ad on the other side that could be cut off and returned.

Pretty cool, and it makes me wonder what the ad would have been for.

Only one I have seen, so far, that has been used as a postcard. Now the sources all say they have a postcard back, as one of the backs. I guess they do!
