Pennant Experts - Opinions on 2 Cleveland 'Indians' Pennants

1 Attachment(s)
I acquired two Cleveland pennants over the last year. I am starting to wonder if they are actually affiliated with the Cleveland Indians Baseball Team or not. Based on the Indian depicted on the pennants, I would guess they are 1930s-1940s vintage, but not sure. They are 3/4 length pennants, 9" x 26" or so, and both are green despite my poor picture. I'm interested in board opinions on the following:

1. Are these Cleveland Indians Baseball pennants?

2. If not, what are they from?

3. The lower pennant in the picture has the marking "N.Y.P. Co." - any thoughts on the marking, and does it help answer Qs 1 and 2?

Sorry

In my opinion they are not in anyway affiliated with Baseball. The Indian logos are stock and common on many 1940s souvenir pennants through out US & Canadian cities.

Agreed. Although it should be noted that manufacturers of Cleveland Indians pennants did use images that were similar, if not identical, to the one on your smaller pennant.

Thanks guys

Thanks for taking a look. I sure wish I could tie them to baseball though! If anyone happens upon evidence to suggest a tie, please post. Thanks again!
