1952 Topps Willie Mays PSA 5

With the market the way it is right now, what do you think a fair value would be if you were selling this card to a friend. Older PSA holder. Thanks for any input.

Post a picture of the card. If it is an older label and has great eye-appeal the price would be higher than than the latest PSA 5 that has sold.

Post a picture. If he shielded you from bullets in Afghanistan, free. If he bailed you out of jail. 30% discount. He's your friend, do what you think is appropriate irregardless of the market. I would only suggest you leave him with a smile and who you are as a friend.

...if he brought in your mail once, 1% off.

How many new friends do you have sending you Pms? Lol.

This card is red hot. I would look at recent sales and decide on a price by comparing how it looks compared to those sales. Pay attention to centering, corners and any other defects. To me a fair friends discount is 20% off, but as suggested above, how good of a friend is he? That could adjust that number slightly.

Can't come up with a better answer than this one ^^.

Also, a couple reasonable things to think about...if this means you can avoid listing on Ebay and doing a paypal transaction, that's about a 13% savings right there you can pass on to him.

Also, I'm not advising you one way or the other on this, but depending on how you feel about paying taxes on a cash transaction between friends, you could discount based on that.
