Got this back today from PSA. Only ticket they have slabbed from that day.

Looked up the history and it appears that on that day on June 27, 1941:

"Fenway Park hosted two amateur baseball games including one between Massachusetts State Officials and Boston City Officials. Boston Mayor Maurice Tobin pitched for Boston while Massachusetts Governor Leverett Saltonstall played first base for the winning team that represented the Commonwealth."

Not sure how or when the MLB players signed the back but maybe they were at the park that day on their day off?

Pretty cool piece of history!

Peace, Mike

I heard Tobin was just bridging a gap in the rotation....

Neat ticket.

And wow that's a tight schedule unless they signed later.
The Indians were at Fenway on the 26th.

They played Chicago in a night game in Cleveland on the 27th
Boston played Washington in a night game in Washington on the 27th.

All four played in those night games.

The pros must have been there for some opening remarks then hit the train station. Even today by high speed rail DC is about a 7 hour trip.
Maybe a no stops special?

Thanks Steve!

Tight schedule but 1941 as you know was a different era. Today......that would have never happened! The players would have been long gone!

It's an interesting window in history!

Peace, Mike
