opinions on a Clemente
 

Looking for opinions on this Clemente. I can't tell if its a Dorsey or not. I need unbiased opinions. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

Hi Mike, here is a Clemente signed Expos program that was signed in person during the 1969 season I got it from a older gentleman who got it signed himself, maybe you can compare your autograph to this one

Thanks for sharing Guy. That’s a beautiful piece! I have a Clemente autograph similar to that on a 1972 Dapper Dan program. This one has things I like about it and other attributes that make me suspect it’s a Dorsey. What concerned me first was actually the “B” in best wishes. At first I thought the signature may have been rushed. However if it was rushed why would he take time to add the Best Wishes salutation?

I do not think it is authentic.

I didn’t want to comment because I do not feel I am qualified with Clemente, but initial instinct was no good. These are supposed to be late life early 70’s pieces if I remember correctly.

Thanks for your comments. This is on the 1970 Clemente night program. I have two others that I’m sure are real but this one I had my doubts but thought I’d ask others for their thoughts.
