1990 Topps Glossy Rookies Foil Test

One of the more modern Topps test issues, it is also one of my favorites because of my interest in variations.

While most collectors are content in obtaining one of each card, I enjoy searching for as many foil colors and placement variations I can find for the only two Dodgers in the set, Ramon Martinez and John Wetteland.

Another lesser known wrinkle for other variation collectors is that each card in the set can also be found with single and double asterisk sheet print designations on the back much like their foil-less counterparts in the base set.

Have a variation of these two guys different from the one's I've shared and that's expendable to you? I'd be interested...especially a non-gold Wetteland.

Happy Hunting to all you Griffey Jr. collectors out there!

1990 Topps

While I collect variants for all of my regular sets I have managed so far to avoid them in my secondary sets. I have this set, which I think is cool, but no variations

Joe... step back carefully from that edge:)
