How does Hakes get such an unlimited supply of top shelf Negro League items?

The description for this pin says Al Lopez was manager of the minor league Indianapolis Indians in 1951. He managed the Cleveland Indians that season. A 60-second check of baseballreference.com would have told this to the writer of the description. Or he could have come on Net54 and asked for help.

Snapolit1 02-24-2021 01:11 PM

Wow they made a mistake. Really outrageous.

Pretty common knowledge if you ask me what Al Lopez was doing in 1951.

Did I say it's common knowledge? No.

Would you expect a lot description to include correct info that's easily accessible online and isn't that obscure in the first place? Most would. But let me guess, not you, Mr. Hot Take.

I get that you like to be a contrarian. Maybe pick your spots better. Especially given your track record of where you throw your support, for what that's worth.
