Help With Gehrig/Lazzeri/Dickey Autographed Piece

Over the holidays, I got the Gehrig/Lazzeri/Dickey piece I own out of storage and was hoping I might get some more help with it. I've posted this piece before, but never had a good scan of it to show the signatures. Now that I again have it in hand, I was able to make a really detailed scan of the signatures.

First, some background on this piece. It was purchased from an Oregon Trail auction in 1993. I was actually able to dig up the original receipt for the item. The piece is a newspaper that has been affixed to what I believe is a scrapbook page. The reverse shows evidence of a photograph or some other sort of item having been pasted on the reverse side of the page and then removed. I'm imagining that the piece was in a scrapbook and when found, it was cut out, hence the remnants on the reverse.

As for the signatures, here is why I am asking for help. The Lazzeri and Dickey signatures are in black fountain pen. The Gehrig is in brown fountain pen. I had never questioned the authenticity of this piece but in light of all of the scandals as of late, the difference in pen colors gave me some pause. I personally think all three signatures look good, and especially Lazzeri and Dickey. It's totally reasonable to think that 2 signatures could be in black, and the Gehrig in brown. Maybe the piece was not signed at the same time, hence the difference in pen color. Maybe Gehrig had a brown pen in his hand when the piece was handed to him? Scenarios abound as for the pen color. However, I was also hoping to get some expert opinions on this piece.

Also note that the Dickey signature is cut off. it appears that the newspaper may have been compete when signed, then trimmed down for the scrapbook (and the bottom of his signature got cut off).

So what are the boards thoughts? Do the signatures all look good? If not, which one don't you like (and for what reason(s))? NOTE: I have NEVER sent this piece in to authentication (whether it be JSA, PSA/DNA, etc.) So, this post is not "they said it's no good but I don't understand why."

Thanks!

Can't comment on the autographs, but Oregon Trail was a good auction house as I recall. Was part of the MastroNet group for a short while.
