Curious if anyone knows who this is? I have no context except it being on this type Spalding baseball. Thanks!

Col Chuck E Cheese. Famous mouse that serves pizza.

There was a Colonel G.F.Chase who was the Inspector General in the early 1900's. Can't find much about him...not even when he died. Maybe?

Doubtful. It appears Colonel G. F. Chase graduated from West Point in 1871, based on an Army and Navy Register from the 1912 graduation ceremony I found online. Based on that, he would've been born in 1849.

Thanks! All I could find on him was a photo from 1909, and he looked fairly young...but must have been 60-ish I guess.

I guess Chuckee Cheese it is. I can't even make out the last name. Given its on a Yogi ball from late 50's I thought it might be somebody worth finding besides grandpa. :-)

Could be anybody. Lots of Auctioneers use the title "Colonel" in their name.

Governors also confer honorary "Colonel" titles on donors or other prominent people for favors or for political reasons, although I don't think they typically use that when signing their name.
