Posted By: Tim
This side of the board doesn't seem to have a lot of these threads and I would love to see some of the great cards of other collectors from this era.

Whether it's a rarity, life long favorite player, valuable card, or all of the above.

Posted By: Dave Hornish
I double posted my 3-D Maloney somehow and was going to delete the dupicate post but I like this bad boy too. FYI the card to the left of the Wyrostek on the panel is Mantle, he is somehow missing from mine

I bought this from Bob Sevchuk at the time of the 1983 find of uncut '53 strips which led to the discovery of how the sheets were printed (see Baseball Cards Magazine #9 articles by Lew Lipset, who was Sevchuk's neighbor). He still had the Mantle on a 2 card panel in his shop when I purchased this for the princely sum of $25 back in the day.

Posted By: Paul
It's an unissued 1968 Topps proof of Tom Seaver. He was trying to fool the photographer by pitching left handed. It didn't work, so he was punished with that boring head shot for the next three years.

Posted By: Paul S
Are you uploading your images to NT 54 for posting? Those are automatically removed after about a week. Those that stay up indefinitely are linked from image hosting websites, such as Photobucket, which is what I use since there is a direct link and auto-login to it provided on the "Respond to Message" page here.
