Help- Lester Patrick game used skates from 1900s "Patrick Division"

Hey guys,

Im helping a customer (dad of a current mlb player), vet these skates. He has paperwork from 30-years ago in an antique mini mall of a local auction. Claims these skates belonged to and worn by Lester Patrick in the early 1900sm (nothing but a claim, no proof). And was given to his son Lynn Patrick (another hall of famer) as his first set of skates.

Looking for any advice on how to certify these. He is thinking about donating these to a museum, not selling them..

Thanks in advance!

Damon

More info and more photos. It would be very difficult to prove what he was sold or given. Many high end early skates have good markings. Again, without photo documentation and good provenance it would be very hard to prove anything or donate to any “museum”.

Sounds a little bit "Holy Grail"ish to me. As mentioned, you can find early examples and they fetch a good premium. However, the odds of them being from what some have termed the "Royal Family" of early hockey would be quite a stretch without any real provenance.

My postcard of Patrick from 1913 is probably no help whatsoever in photo matching your skates but thought I would post it anyway.
