Vintage NON SPORTS CARDS

what are the rarest, most collectable vintage non sports cards?????? Thanks!

Rarest and most collectible are two different buckets. There are lots of unique cards, most of which don’t have a lot of value or fame. I’ve won a number of unique items in non sports land for $10 or less. Unique cards don’t have enough out there to generate the appeal that more common cards do.

The short printed US Caramel William McKinley is probably the most famous and “collectible”.

Some of the more popular vintage sets to collect are in no particular order:

1932 U.S. Caramel Presidents
1940 Superman Gum
1940 Lone Ranger Gun
1962 Topps Mars Attacks
1966 Batman (All Series)

There are a few non-sports that interest me:

52 Look N See
1960s James Bond
1958 TV Westerns
1956 Elvis Presley
1930 Mickey Mouse Rubis

The majority of all the non-sport cards are still affordable for the most part. I think in the years ahead (maybe 5-10) that will change dramatically.

I recently asked Leon if maybe he could add a separate thread category specifically for non-sports. I didn't hear back, so I guess they're not at that level yet - but it's coming!

Not rare, but I got into the N31 and N4 Allen & Ginter recently.

If anyone has any E47 Jockeys or N72 Coins Of All Nations, I need four from each set in lower grade.
Thanks,
Bob

Check out the non-sports board (link at top right corner of screen). Lots of info and nice people over there.

I think nonsports is one of those areas that has potential in terms of collector interest and growth. It is where sports were a generation or two ago. I am amazed at how little it costs to get some genuinely beautiful 100+ year old cards. Plus, it ain't all pictures of guys :D
