1959 Mickey Mantle Matchbook Yoo-Hoo

Hi All,

I picked this up as part of a large collection.

Is this an authentic 1959 piece?

Any idea of value?

It appears to be in pretty good shape.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1319e43e78.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6dd32a19ce.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...5b319dbb49.jpg

Looks good to me. As for price, there are a couple of 1958 versions on eBay right now at very high asking prices. Someone is also listing a 1958 paired with a 1959 like yours. Evidently PSA grades these.

Surprised PSA grades these. Maybe I'll go that route just for piece of mind.

In order for PSA to grade it, you have to remove the matches. IMO, not a good solution.

Agreed. It’s legitimate. No need to get it graded for peace of mind.

Ah, I see.

I like that it has the matches still in it.

Agree with other comments. The books with matches are great!

Okay. I'll ask the obvious question:

Why would you light up your Yoo-Hoo?

It seems an odd marketing partnership.
