2000 Fleer Mystique Seismic Activity Richter 100 Unnumbered???

I have a couple of 2000 Fleer Mystique Foil Seismic Activity Richter 100 cards, the tough insert. However these do not have the numbering on the front????

They came from the original owner who had a lot of various years and issues of Fleer cards circa 1999-2002

Any ideas?

A couple ideas,

They missed getting the numbering. Unusual, but it could happen.

File copies - Fleer had examples of a lot of cards, either as simple file copies, or as potential replacements for cards damaged in packing etc. Some of those have gotten into the hobby from when Fleer went out of business.

Would guarantee that they were obtained in the great 2005 (2006?) Fleer bankruptcy liquidation. An unbelievable amount of non-serial-numbered rarities (and not so rarities) entered the market that year. Tons of hand numbered memorabilia cards too and strange unreleased proof cards.

Thanks I suppose that's possible, but I was pretty sure he had them since they were issued, perhaps not.

So...are they worth more or less than a serial numbered version(I am guessing less)...

Less, they're considered "backdoored" / stolen by most collectors, most grading companies won't grade them as the originals, and player collectors pay more for pack-inserted cards. They'll still have a market, but not to the level of the numbered.

100% back door stuff.

Extremely common with this era Fleer stuff.
