Large 8×14 Babe Ruth photo. It appears this was intended to be used in a publication. That's merely my speculation. The photo of Ruth was cut out inked and glued to a backing board. There are no markings to clarify its purpose or age. Based on the image I believe it to have been produced in the 1920s. I'm asking $50 shipped payment via PayPal. PM me if interested.

Apparently a photo expert on this site believes this photo may actually be a type 3. Perhaps it is? Anyway, I am sharing this communication in an effort to be transparent. I was unaware that wire photos were produced in oversized formats. I thought the detail was a result of enlarging the print. I was not attempting to misrepresent this photo.
