1987 Sportflics baseball, copyright 1987 and also 1986

I got a question for you long time collectors out there. As many may know, the 1987 Sportflics cards had both the 1986 and 1987 copyright on back. The regular cards were easier to find in both variations. Some of us, however, go a step further and collect the team triva cards with the players name on back (team leader, etc). So from what I can tell, the smaller team triva cards came in two sets for 1987. You had a 1 to 26 set and a 1 to 136 set.
I am guessing that the 1 to 26 set had the 1987 copyright on the back, and they didn't make any with the 1986 copyright.
The 1 to 136 set had both copyrights on the back. But boy, trying to find the ones you want with the 1987 copyright is exceedingly difficult! Supposedly the '87 copyright trivia cardscame in packs. I have bought three boxes of packs and all were 1986 copyright.
Can anyone share more information on this?

I don't know the answer, but I now realize I have a few more cards to pick up with my guy listed on the back. I've been able to find a couple with both 1986 and 1987 copyrights on COMC.

That is one of the cards posted by the user iffie99 who has been discussed in a few previous threads. Most of his submissions are photoshopped fake errors/variations. So it probably doesn't exist unless someone else can confirm it.

This is probably known to those who may care about this stuff, but this thread made me pull out the box of trivia cards (which was lifting up my monitor at my desk) and I found a few possible errors that look to have been reprinted.

The set of trivia cards is numbered to 56, but I found a few that were numbered to 12. I suppose these might have been issued in a different product or they were errors that were corrected at some point. Guessing maybe these could exist for the first 12 cards. I had 5 of the 12 (7-11) but none of the other 1-6 or 12 to verify.

Regarding the original subject, it looks like all my cards in the 136 card set are 86 copyright.

If anyone actually collects these and needs a certain one, I may be able to help. I have a lot of them.

I think the /12 ones were in the "100 hottest rookies" and /or "100 hottest players" sets.

Those say they come with 6 magic motion trivia cards.

Of course, you'd have to buy multiple sets to get all the trivia cards, unless it was 6 in one and a different 6 in another. I've never opened mine, but probably should since the plastic shell they came in is yellowed and fragile.

I thought that was a possibility when i first saw them. I have several of those sets that I broke out of the outer plastic, but don't think i ever broken them out of the inner plastic.

As usual I am lost. After reading through this thread I went back to see what I had for Sportflics, which is

--1986 Premier Edition set of 200 player cards with 133 Trivia cards with a 1986 CR
--1986 Rookie set of 50 player cards with 34 Trivia cards with 1986 CRs
--1986 Decade Greats set of 75 player cards with 51 Trivia cards with 1986 CR
--1988 Edition set of 225 player cards with 153 Trivia cards with 1987 CRs

Can someone help me understand how these relate to the rest of the discussion in this thread
