Your Opinion/Help with Perez Steeles question

Hello,
I need the boards help with a question Ive had for years and keep going back and forth with, so I finally decided to just ask you, the experts on your opinion/advice.

When it comes to collecting the perez steele HOF postcards (HOF set, Celebration and Great Moments set)

do you prefer/recommend, like, etc to have them signed in Blue sharpie or should I have them with a cut autograph (index card etc as the signature) i like both to be honest. sharpie to me looks awesome, but some ive had for years have begun to fade (even if stored in the dark) and i like the cut signatures attached because of consistency with the set all looking alike. (once you get past 100 or so players, the older players are hard or didnt sign the perez steele cards) your thoughts please as I always appreciate and value the boards opinions/advice. thanks

Personally I don't like the cut signature /slabbed Perez Steele combo. The frammed and matted with a 3x5 look better IMO

Are you collecting these for resale later or for your own personal enjoyment? If the former, blue Sharpie is the industry standard. If the latter, go with what you like best. No amount of experience can determine your preference for you.

I personally don't like the cut autograph attached to the Perez Steele card and then slabbed. Looks like a 3rd grade craft project. There always cut in the shape of the autograph.

after looking at the cut signatures on the postcards, they do look amateur looking. but for those that do colelct , what are the options for those older players that couldnt/didnt sign perez steles? maybe as mentioned the 3x5 matted?

Mine are all slabbed with no cuts. Most are signed with sharpies.

Personally don't like the cut signature "on" the postcard; looks rough to me.

If you're looking to display the older players (you can do this with newer players as well) I'd go framed with a matted Perez Steel and a nice cut autograph, preferably on a blank background, matted below. Also, if you'd prefer them slabbed by a TPG then you can have them both slabbed separately, or just one slabbed, then mat and frame. Looks good...
