Never heard of company. But, I would say definitely no good on signature. Very slow and shaky.

RichardSimon 12-08-2016 06:28 PM

The company was a criminal enterprise and are long since gone from the autograph scene. Unfortunately their sh-- still lives on.
The autograph is lousy.

Thanks, figured as much. Was able to pull up some info on the internet under SCAA. Oh well, worth a shot, didn't cost me anything.

SCAA is on Ebay's Banned COA List.

They've been on it since the close of "Operation Bullpen."

khkco4bls 12-08-2016 07:33 PM

Look how slowly drawn it is and how shaky the ruth . is

SCAA was one of the crooked authenticators that was part of the Marino Family forgery ring. Greg Marino may have been the forger of this Ruth.

quinnsryche 12-09-2016 12:39 PM

Too bad it wasn't Dan Marino, maybe then it would be worth something. :D

And people say he was a talented forger. A blind man could recognize his stuff as bad.

It's funny how they don't even pretend to have spent much time examining it.... "after a cursory review..."

RichardSimon 12-11-2016 06:33 PM

A cursory review is a highly exaggerated description for what they did.
These people never examined a thing.

that's the nice way of saying it's a piss poor example of a fake, just like 99.9% of all Ruth cuts

Snapolit1 12-12-2016 10:06 AM

Be nice if you could send it to him in prison and tell him to use it for barter.

rjackson44 12-12-2016 10:10 AM

I think the only thing these guys examined were their wallets at one time.
