I have six different wire photos (different angles) from the same play when Mantle took out Reese during the 1952 World Series. I plan on putting a custom framed display of these photos with autographed baseballs of both players.

Nice, Anthony! Legendary shot.
I've posted this before, but here's my Duke from the same series after his first of two homers in game 6. The action shot on his '56 Topps. <a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/158992597@N08/39547402385/in/album-72157668696860149/" title="1952SniderJRWS56Topps"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/4758/39547402385_9bb3b22698.jpg" width="394" height="500" alt="1952SniderJRWS56Topps"></a><script async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

I have owned the attached photo of George Brett for many years and have
had alot of black & white photos authenticated but not sure on color so didn't send them in. Finally sent in the attached, and it is the only one of its kind I have seen in years of collecting. The SSPC Brett & Cowens and it is a type 1 |

I have a ton of Type I HOF photos but these are 2 of my favorites. Forgive the glare, they are hanging on my walls...

I have come to the realization that I like photos more than cards.
Just received these two in the mail from Memory Lane. |

Great photos Charles! It took me a bit to figure out that if the photo was team issued it is classified as a type III. Here is my circa 1940s photo of Musial in a batting stance. Although my photo is from the previous decade, it is classified as a class III. Of course, I also really like the class I - I've also attached a picture of my Ruth, but I sold it.

I love pictures of Musial's stance--he that corkscrew swing going, but it was a thing of beauty. And that is a great closeup of Ruth. Thanks for sharing! |

I love this thread. There are some amazing photos.
This is a recent pickup...my first close up of the iron horse. |

Picked up this photo of Jake Beckley in the recent Hunt's auction. You don't see many playing-day photos of players from his era.

I just received both of these back from PSA - I posted the Bender in Lucas's snapshot thread but would also like to post it here. The Chief's snap was included in an auction lot of Jimmie Wilson ephemera I purchased a few years ago.
Everyone knows that Cal Hubbard is the only person elected to both the football and baseball Hall of Fame. I think this is a pretty rare autographed type I from his induction to the baseball hall in 76. He died a little over a year later. Hope you enjoy them. |

Stan Musial type 1 from 1942/43. Had this one framed and matted about 15 years ago and forgot I had it! Was in my basement with some other baseball items.

That is a Great Musial!!!
