1992 Donruss-No Red Ink Back!

4 Attachment(s)
Anyone have any info on these? I have 4 diff cards that are all devoid of any red ink on the backs. (The fronts seem perfectly normal)

Can find no EBay listings like this and haven't been able to pull up any other pictures w/ No Red Ink.

Wondering about scarcity & possible value, if anyone can help.

Thanks,
Fred

I thought there were some members into ERR/VAR on board--no one familiar w/ this type of mistake?

Probably just missed the magenta color pass. Unless it's recurring it is just a novelty, not a whole lot of value.

Player or type collectors will pay a slight premium. If you have a super star they get a decent premium. If you have a Wade Boggs I will pay a premium.:)

The one thing about 99.99% of print errors is even if they are super rare they have little to no value.

Unless it's on ebay and I bid on it... Then there's usually someone else who bids on it and they usually want it more than I do.

If I don't bid, it usually sells for less than I'd have bid, or not at all.

Missed ink pass. What's been said so far is spot on. As for frequency, if it is on one card then it is on the rest of the sheet. If it happens a bunch of times it is a variation. If it happens once, it is an accident.

There are some dummies--like me--who love this stuff. I have a whole album of misprints and miscuts. I guess I just enjoy seeing other people f*** up.

Fred, those are also missing the yellow on the back.

Thanks to all of you for commenting--I appreciate it! That's the kind of info I was looking for!

Besides Decker & Van Slyke I have #377 Dave Gallagher & #394 Scott Ruskin.

I feel that way a lot when it comes to buying stuff online. Sometimes it hurts to look at completed listings!
