How it feels to FINALLY cross your most-wanted card off your list.....

Posted By: Brian McQueen
Just got this one in today. I suppose the "thrill of the chase" was one reason I always enjoyed set collecting but it's nice when the chase finally ends too. It may not be much to look at, but this card was at the top of my want list for a very, very long time. I'm thrilled to finally have one and am sure it will be a favorite in my collection for a long time to come. Sometimes the hobby's "rewards" will more than make up for it's frustrating aspects. And of course, the good news for all of you is that I can finally stop badgering you all for this card each month on BST or through emails. See how that works? Everyone wins!

Posted By: Jason L
and you know, it is the wanting!

I searched for many many years for a particular pair of cards, always looking at pictures I had, wondering if I would ever find these elusive things. When I finally found them, I couldn't pay for them fast enough, and no delivery service was fast enough. When they finally arrived in the mail...I looked at them for 10 minutes, showed them to my family, and then put them away and haven't lookd at them since!

Weird, huh?
Posted By: Zinn
For me too it is the "thrill of the chase". I haven't completed many sets but do recall the letdown once the quest had ended. It isn't instantaneous but it will come. And when it does you will move on to another chase, and another, and another, and hopefully it will never end.
