Modern Day Trade Cards

As we know, some of the earliest baseball cards were trade cards. These cards had pictures on one side and advertisements on the other. I was looking through some of my cards that I categorize as modern day (1980-Present) trade cards. Costs nothing, and fun to collect. I'm curious to see if anyone else collects this type of card. Please post them if you do.

Here are some of mine....

Really neat stuff. I have a few, but none of the ones shown. I collect the cards done for shows too. That was popular in the late 70's, having a card as a free thing with admission or for a small fee.

Is that last one, the Murray a promo for the supers?

And for the OP, what did it take to get the $100 off on a caramel card coupon ones. I can't imagine they just handed them out.

1986 Supers

Yes, Steve a promo card for the Super set. I looked for one because Bob Lemke listed it in the Standard Catalog in the days when they still did post 1980 listings

I have a ton of them. I only have 2 from The National, a pair of Ted Williams from the 07 Cleveland National. Since they are the same I would trade one for a different National trade card.

One of the cards I received in my auction catalog; the other was a giveaway received at a card show. The Caramel auction was a little too rich for my blood:(. The link below will explain the use of Caramel coupon cards.
