Came in a lot of 234 mostly baseball autographs.
Any opinions? |
hmm
A ball made in China instead of a regulation MLB ball? not a good sign...

I've compared your signature to many other George Bush signatures and it looks good. Attached is one I received from him.

Thanks for the response.

I've found that genuinely signed, off-brand balls signed by GWB are far more common than other Presidents. They tend to predate his presidency and were mostly likely signed in the stands at Rangers games. Therefore, there is less cause to be immediately dismissive of cheap baseballs signed by him.

The signature looks good and is well preserved since this example most likely, as said previously, is a pre - Presidency in- person example .
For a cheap leather or imitation leather baseball ( probably an in stadium purchase ) the black Sharpie shows no yellow haloing around the signature as is common over time with these baseballs signed in black. |
Exactly, a lot of the cheap balls were likely purchased in the concessions. They saw GWB close by and needed something to get signed. Also, pre-Presidency, a lot of people wouldn't have wanted to "waste" an expensive OAL ball on him! Hilarious.
