Can anyone identify these Clemente "cards?"

Can anyone tell me what these are exactly. They kind of resemble the Jays Publishing cards, but they're different. The larger one is very thin stock, the smaller one is heavier, but not as thick as a card. The larger is from a set of 12 Pirates and the smaller from a set of 20.

The smaller card (bottom photo) is from the 1971 Pittsburgh Pirates Autograph Cards set (according the 2010 Standard catalog...page 279). Similar cards were issued from 1967-1971. Lists at $15 NM in Standard Catalog. According to the Catalog, the appearance of Three Rivers Stadium tells us that the card is 1970, as that is the way to tell difference from others, BUT the 1970 issue had ROBERTO printed on front....the 1971 has BOB on front...................still looking for the other

Thanks for the information. I found the two sets in a collection I bought and listed them without getting any information beforehand and I've had a a bunch of people inquiring about them. I thought they might be something sort of special and needed to end the listings and put them up properly identified, but it doesn't sound like that's necessary.

Hi Dalkiel,

I was one of the people who contacted you and asked if you would sell. You pretty accurately described them. They are team issues from 1970-1972. The B&W set is a bit harder than the color (which is pretty common). Let me know if you would reconsider an offer before they end. Also please keep me in mind in the future should you run across any Interesting Clemente items. Thanks. bew ell. Good luck.

While I'm not objected to ending items early, my rule-of-thumb is that if I don't know much about the item I'm selling to just let it run it's course.

Thank you for the interest.
