N172 Old Judge Price Help

Guys I just got these back from SGC and really have no idea of the value so I wanted to get some input. I know they are all commons but there are some pretty low population cards and some pretty high grades IMO. I am basically looking for fair retail type prices. Here is the list.

1 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 TIP O'NEILL 50
2 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 MIKE SLATTERY 60
3 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 PETE SWEENEY 40
4 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 JOCKO FIELDS 60
5 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 JIMMY MCALEER 50
6 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 GEORGE SHOCH 80
7 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 MIKE MATTIMORE 30
8 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 GUS ALBERT 60
9 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 BILLY CROWELL 60
10 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 L. SCHILDKNECHT 60
11 1887 Old Judge Cigarettes N172 BILLY O'BRIEN 40

Here is a scan before they were graded so you can get an idea of how nice
the images are and the poses.

Some have a good amount graded by SGC but there are only 7 Sweeney with only 1 higher and only 8 Shoch with 1 higher, the Schildknecht is the highest
graded.

Any thoughts would be great. Feel free to drop me a private note if you don't want to post here. Thanks

Those are a beautiful grouping of cards, all 1889 examples except the Fields (1887). Excluding the Harry Wright, there are no real stand-outs. I'd say the prices Kevin Struss (Baseball Rarities) used on his grouping of SGC graded cards are as good as any (fair market value).

Note, his cards were similar photo quality as yours (from the Alan Sassoon collection).

SGC 40 => ~$200
SGC 50 => ~$275
SGC 60 => ~$350
SGC 70 => ~$425
SGC 80 => ~$500

Now they could be worth far more if more than one guy is looking for a particular player or pose.

Best of luck with the cards.
