Calling Dr. Cheech. Calling Dr. Chong. Trending at $160.00.

Apparently cannabis-aided trending has hit eBay:

When you can't get the real thing, might as well spend 100 times on a fake

Unfortunately with ebay that is probably the average amount for a reprint of a high dollar card...check out the sales of Mr. Ruth, for example.

Trending? Now that's the first time that I ever saw that. Is that a new eBay feature?

steve B 11-11-2014 10:23 AM

?

What's different? All I see is a typical listing.

Steve,

"Trending at: $159.50"

Something new, but for a reprint?

tschock 11-11-2014 01:13 PM

Yep. I looks like trending is trending.

A trend in vain

"When did trending become trendy?" I pondered as I infinitessimally progressed upon my trendmill.

I don't see that when I go to the item.

Something new they're trying? Sometimes they put new stuff on a few servers to see if it works. If I'm on the "old" one I won't get it.

Still nothing. Here's what I see. Shrunk by the board software....If you can't make it out I'll try a different way.

This is interesting. "Trending" is apparently dependent on browser?

I see "trending" showing up when using IE8, Firefox 33, and Chrome 38 on a computer (laptop/desktop). Not sure about any tablets or other mobile devices.

Interesting that changing the OP link to www.ebay.ca shows trending but www.ebay.fr and www.ebay.de does not.

If it does show and you hover over the question mark next to the trending icon, it will say:

"This is the median price based on sales of this product, taking into consideration item condition, from all sellers on ebay.com in the past 14 days, or if there are an insufficient number of listings for a meaningful calculation, the past 90 days."

I have read it three times and I'm still confused..

I have never seen it but it's there;......reprints are now trending....down I hope... :) (actually reprints are fine as long as they are sold as reprints)
