Just how rare is Sherwood Magee's autograph?

While researching T206 autographs tonight, I am having a really hard time finding much at all for Sherry Magee autographs, for obvious reasons...having passed away in the twenties. I believe I found one exemplar. Anyone else here own one or have an image saved of his signature?

Pretty tough. There was a thread on here a while back in which Jim Stinson said that Magee is one of the "real rarities" when it comes to collecting autographs of the 1919 Reds. If Jim Stinson says a guy is a rarity...

Bumping this to see if anyone out there might have a Sherry Magee autograph they could share. Or if you don't want to post it, and could PM to me. I am drawing a blank and really am interested in one.
Best,
Jeff

Huggins & Scott will have a signed Magee postcard in our February '21 auction. It is addressed to his sister and has has great baseball content!

His Autograph is about as rare as rare can get, I don't ever remember selling one or seeing one I thought was real offered for sale. The only one I've ever seen that I believe is authentic is the one from his WW I draft card posted above, Should one ever surface expect it to be VERY pricey.

Just saw the post card listed for auction on Hugginsandscott...WOW! Would love to hear the backstory as to how that item was discovered.

I should know because I'm the one who found it! A large collection made its way up from North Carolina. It took about a month to go through it. Found a junk tray with a postcard that was partially torn. We were going to throw it away or just throw it in a "treasure chest" lot (this person was a hoarder) when I read the back. I didn't really put "Sherwood" to use until I looked at the recipient's last name. Put her name into Ancestry.com and it came connected to "Sherwood Magee." Told the guys in the office that we might have something big here. Took this piece to James Spence last week and they were floored.
