Says he had two cards lost by grading services (yeah right).
Another fraudulent person?

Posted By: Ben
is well aware of the fact that there is an enormous amount of fraudulent activity on ebay, especially in the realm of vintage cards. It has been stated, over and over on this board that 1. One should not bid on private auctions, 2. One should educate and familiarize him or herself with the look and feel of a particular vintage issue before bidding on it, and 3. One should buy from sellers they trust, sellers with liberal return policies in order to minimize the risk of being burned.

These points have been reiterated SO many times on this board that I feel it is beginning to degrade its true purpose; the discussion of pre-war baseball cards. I realize the importance of warning newer collectors of scam artists such as Roy Huff, AAA, or the most recent "Ohiotarheelfan", but things tend to become rather bland when 5 or 6 of the most recent threads all relate to the same topic...anyone with me on this?
