When you go to for example the 1933 Goudey set now on top all the images with show with a slider. The number if images that show will be what you have it set at 25, 50, 100 or all. You can go through all the cards and if you click on one in CV it takes you to that profile page. Depending on the size of the sets it does take a few seconds to load when I did the whole T206 set of 530 images it took about 75 seconds to load. So we give you the option to disable this feature by clicking on the Collapse button on the bottom right side of CV. And when you want to use it again you can click on the expand button.

We are working on this same feature for player searches to show as well and should be up soon.

Hope you enjoy this new added feature.

Posted By: dstudeba
Hi Bobby,

That looks nice. For your next feature could you look into reducing the number of clicks it takes to get general pricing data? Here is a use case which I commonly do which takes a lot of effort on your site an I usually go to the SCD book for.

I need to price a c46 Rudolph SGC 60. There are maybe a couple sales for Rudolph, but probably none in SGC 60, so what I really need is what a common c46 sells for. On your site I have to go through a bunch of commons that probably don't have data for the grade I desire, and if they do it could be old. I have to run regressions in my head to extrapolate the data and still I am unhappy with my margin of error. And this is after doing a ton of clicks. It would be nice if you had a list of the last 100 sales of each set linked to the set page. Not very meaningful for T206s which have a lot of data, but very helpful for many other sets which could give you a much better feel for the current values and the number of times cards from the set have been offered.

I can get pictures of cards from a lot of places, I pay for the data on your site.

Posted By: Matt
Dan - on the set overview page you can do a search by grade, so you could pull up all the SGC 60 C46s pretty easily and then you can sort the resultant table by sales date.

One other feature that might make what you want easier, is if VCP allowed sorting by the "Prices" column on the set overview page, so that you can easily bring up all the cards that have pricing by them.

Another would be to allow you to pull all 5s (SGC, BVG and PSA) when doing the above search instead of having to run 3 separate requests.

In general, I would always prefer usability improvements like the suggestions above to aesthetic ones.

My Trade/Sale Page

Posted By: Bobby Binder
dstudeba,

Have you tried using the new Keyword search we added to the site. If you enter C46 Rudolph it takes you right to the price page. We are working in improving this area of the site so you can get where you want in less clicks. There will be more improvements coming to this section soon.

Posted By: Jerry
I use VCP everyday and find it a very useful tool.

My only complaint is when I hit the search button 9 times out of 10 it takes me to the page where it wants me to renew my subscription which doesn't expire until August. I can see doing this a month before it expires and I'm sure I will be recieving emails before it expires but taking me to this page everyday is kinda overkill.

To reinterate, I think the site has saved me alot more money than my subscription cost but less clicks are always better.
