Absolutely brutal year for loses. Allen deserves a spot in the HoF. RIP to another great ballplayer.

He was 78, but I have not seen any word on what exactly took him.

I really don't know too much about Dick Allen. It's sad that he died. So what made him special? What would be the sales pitch to put him in the HOF?
