Just so no one gets burned on the board-Middy Bread

These are very rare when real. Unfortunately these on ebay aren't. I don't post too many of these but thought these might actually fool someone that isn't familiar with the issue AND I had several emails with the seller. The last email back to them didn't get a response...as I told them how to tell if they were real. There is a copyright that says "made in USA" right below the word "Distinctively".....It is very blurry on fakes and very crisp on real ones.....and there are other indicators but this is the easiest...

It looks like he has placed a disclaimer at the bottom of the auction at with the information that Leon provided.

It's good to expose this ebay "scammers" even if you're not interested in the item. Thanks for the heads up Leon!

Whoever coined the moto “If you're not cheating, you're not trying”???:)

well

I do have a real one and I do have a reprint. The reprint is a die cut. The real one is a die cut. The reprint has very blurry letters as I stated. The real one, even though it can't be seen on this scan, has very clear precise letters where I said it does. Also, if I had these ebay ones in hand I would think they have that "even glossy" feel on the front. When you handle enough vintage cards and reprints you just know. I don't think the seller is necessarily a bad person but they also are leaving room for them to be real. At $100 they will be selling very expensive reprints..... (the aut grade on this real one is because there is tape on the back near the head and it can't be confirmed if is only reinforcement or was a detached piece....(SGC is usually conservative which is a good thing)http://luckeycards.com/pduncmiddybread.jpg

Leon, did he tell you the size? I bought some fakes once and they had been cut out of Larry Fritsch reprints. The reprints were standard Topps card size (before trimming). The originals are much bigger.

I didn't ask the size of them....There is pretty close to a 0% chance these on ebay are real.....
