NY/NJ Giants

I think they could squeak by and suprise a few people in the post season. Coach really seems to have this team in the palm of his hand and they are executing very well (if not particularly flashy).

Believe they can beat Vikings. Of course bigger tasks ahead of that.

Am I just inhaling too much of that recently legalized in NJ leafy green stuff?

I doubt they will beat the Vikings. If they do, they go to Philly or SF. I seriously doubt they win at either place, absent injury or turnover-itis by the home team.
Excellent season though.

I think they could give the Vikings a game. They just lost to them in Minnesota a few weeks ago on a last second 61 Yard FG.

Beyond that, they are playing above their heads already. It's gravy they even got to the playoffs this year. They are not a deep team.

Give Daboll another year, another draft, and another off season to strengthen them up a bit. Just hope Daboll doesn't turn into another Bob McAdoo, who many forget was an absolute folk hero in New York his first year coaching the Giants...and then the next year it completely fell apart and he was run out of town before the season was even over.

I think you mean Ben McAdoo. Bob was a man of many talents, but I don't recall him being a football coach. ;)

Philly seems to me to be very vulnerable. A month ago I would have said they were quite likely SB champ. I think they fall hard. They do get a extra week rest.

The 49ers would be my pick to win the NFC, but I wouldn't put them on par with the top 3 teams in the AFC at all. Rookie could wilt under the bright lights. Cowboys don't seem to be much of a powerhouse. Brady's days are numbered.

I think the NFC scene as a whole is very very shaky.

Agreed.

The Vikings have a decent record, but they are never hot. They lived the season tepid and won by very close margins. When cold they have been crushed and looked like a 6 win team at best.

I have learned they are a "no go zone" for me at the sports book and expect the game to be a coin flip for the winner again. Giants have an excellent chance.

As for the next round they likely have not much of shot at all, but they exceeded expectations.

LOL, yes Ben, though I bet Bob couldn't have done a worse job in 2017. ;)

Giants should be competitive and the game should be close.

Can they win insure but it has the potential to be the best matchup of the weekend.

If they win I do not see them doing well the following week

But it has been a great and entertaining season for them.

And finally they can say they found their QB or at least they will be keeping him and pay 30 million a year for him

Certainly agree on this as someone with no fan ties in the game, going to be watching.

Nice game. That’s why the giants were a dangerous match for the Vikings.

Fantastic game for the G-Men!

Hopefully they keep it close next week. Looking dangerous right now.

Agreed

They looked really good. Daniel Jones looked really good both running and throwing.

Some gutsy play calls and a quality win.

Next week against Philadelphia will be a really tough game for them

I guess Hurts is healthy.

That sucked for giants fans. Losing is one thing; being thoroughly embarrassed is another. Have to lay a good deal of responsibility on coaching staff for that kind of lifeless performance.

Looks like it he threw and ran well. But the giants never played him tough or hit him clean but hard .

The giants were just truly out played.

I think they have a lot to build on. Daboll is brilliant, in my opinion. The schemes he sets up, on offense are top notch. Still not sold on Jones, I think he's solid, but I wouldn't say he's the future of the team.

Funny, this morning the Eagles were still behind the Bills and Chiefs in the official Vegas bookmaker odds to win the SuperBowl. I'd say a toss up between the three, and obviously the Bills have one more game to get through than the other 2.

Sadly Bills may not even make it to the final four.

They are not looking good at all with 1 QTR to go
