52 mantle

Awesome looking card, but what do you think the chances are that this seller actually has it?

The barcode on the flip does not appear to match up with the correct barcode that corresponds to the serial number on the flip

and I've got some ocean front property in Arizona!

This side on the hobby is so disappointing.

Yeah, this is clearly a fraud. If you look on VCP, you will see that the serial number on the front of the flip has sold twice before. Once in 2009 and once again in 2010. Those two sales are the same card. The card in this listing is clearly NOT the same card.

How do you pull up the bar code? I know how to do the cert verification but I don't see a bar code when I input the psa id #.

I thought some people actually own bar code scanners or have "an app for that".

Jesse, when checking the accuracy of a PSA barcode, I just go to this website and plug the PSA cert # in and it produces an accurate scan-able barcode. I use the "interleaved" option.

if looking for an "app", I use red laser for iPhone. works the best and can actually scan over your monitor if a half way decent scan is used. it CAN NOT be used when the card is tilted which is why this user posted a straight "far away" shot then a tilted "close up"...pure scam.

Already learning a lot of things while being here!! Plus the guy has only 10 feedback!!! even fishier for such a big card!

The listing is gone now....I have not seen very many of these forgeries that have the incorrect barcode these days, this must be an older one. Five+ years ago, the wrong barcode was the norm as a generic barcode was typically used on the fakes. Most fakes today have the correct barcode.
