My first auction bidding with Sterling. Won two items in #101: easy invoicing, easy payment with PayPal. Look forward to future purchases and maybe some consigning. thanks Lee

I just registered and look forward to future auctions. Congrats to the winners yesterday.

Not only were many prices strong, when I checked last night there was one (1) passed lot. That's amazing and a sign of a rabid market.
With the 1926 Exhibit Ruth SGC 40 going for $12,600 on top of the other recent results for Ruth cards, looks like we've entered the era of five-figure Ruth Exhibit cards. Are Cobb and Gehrig soon to follow? |
All i wanna know, is who outbid me on the UNC-Big Head Schange???
It was in very rough shape, did not expect any action on it. |
Woke up this morning to find out I lost two lots in extended bidding - well after I had gone to sleep for the night. :)
Looking forward to getting the couple of lots I did win. |
Gosh dang it !!!!
I forgot about auction, and missed putting in a bid .......... :( Having said that ..... :) ....... if anyone here won the T206 P42 Latham, and would like a quick flip for some $$$$, please let me know: mybuddyinc@yahoo.com Thanks, Scott |

Sorry I outbid you on the Schange, but I was immediately outbid as well. Thanks for getting back to me regarding final price for that one. . |
Scott,
Remember to get one bid in when the auction opens. This gets you into extended bidding and you can bid on any lot at that time. As far as the Big Head Schang. It was only one of five lots that did not get a bid in the previous auction and ended up going for more then the opening bid in the previous auction. You just never know from auction to auction what people are interested. Thanks Everyone, Lee |
Ruth Exhibit Card
That Ruth Exhibit card is just about the highest price for that card, in a close grade, that I can remember. I invested in the wrong things! (actually, I don't invest, I collect and hopefully they get more valuable)

I believe Cobb popped already with the T206 spike. Possibly more room to grow as well as Ruth. Gehrig surprisingly has lagged and is just now starting to see that rocket take off. Kinda messed up Mantle, Aaron, and Mays spiked before Gehrig. I believe Gehrig is going to surprise the hobby and eat Ruth and Cobb up as people realize more and more the scarcity of Gehrig compared to the others mentioned. |

FWIW, there has been a surge of sales on my Exhibit book the last few months, so I am thinking that there is a surge of interest in Exhibit cards.
