Show em : Please Show a Card you picked up at a previous National Convention !
 

In the spirit of our annual convention forthcoming, I thought it would be great to see at least 1 card you might have picked up on trade or purchase at a past National. Here are a few of my pickups :
2011 National in Chicago - ? ? ?
2010 National in Baltimore - McKean N172
2009 National in Cleveland - Miller T210
2008 National in Chicago - Ellam Mini Team Issue

Nice thread idea! This will be my first, so I have nothing to show, but I'm interested in seeing what others scored in the past.

2009 in Cleveland.

My first National (Baltimore), and my two purchases.

St. Louis, 1994 (?)
 

My son was about three, so that would make it 1994? Don't even remember. My only national, and my only purchase while there. Saved for almost a year to get this one, and called 707 the week before the national, just to make sure it would be there. Found their booth, made an offer, waited 15 minutes while he thought about it, bought it, ate lunch, looked for about another four hours (only at t206s), held a Wagner at the Sports Card Plus booth and left.

This is also the same National I emptied my savings account (my wife was super happy... NOT!) for a lot of 100+ T206. :)

Last year I went to Baltimore and ended up not buying even a single card. Hell, even my wife found something (Secretariat Ron T. Signed & Framed Piece)! I've become a little too picky in my focus.
