Ticket Stub Needed Thread
 

I have 4 or 5 pages of ticket stubs I bought at an auction last year. Have to imagine there is nothing special there. However, realize stubs could be important to a certain collector looking for a particular team/year.

Maybe it would be worthwhile to have a single ongoing thread where people could post stubs they searching for/collecting/need. If anyone posts something I might have will let you know.

One man's gold could be another man's thing he is ignoring on the shelf collecting dust.

Thanks for the idea for a thread. A couple of dates I could use - nothing much happened in either game, except for a friend who played and I'd like to find stubs for him if possible.

During quarantine, Peter, who I have met a few times at Isles games, posted all of his Islanders, Jets, Yankee stubs on Twitter. Now I have long moved away from home and kept those tickets at my folks house. My mother was able to unearth: a few. But his posts got me curious about my old stubs.

We have Islanders 80, 81 cup clinchers. What is missing, probably my favorite memory from my childhood, is 83 Islanders. If anyone has that stub, get at me!

I am in need of any game tickets for the 1920 and 1921 World Series.

I collect World Series and All-Star Game tickets plus some selected Toronto Blue Jays games. Do you have a photo/list of era/sport etc?

No Blue Jays or WS, but actually do have a 1983 All Star Game (50th Anniversary) stub. Looks like it took place in Chicago. DM me if you need that.

Great thread idea! I collect tickets and stubs from all sporting events in calendar year 1971 and also college basketball milestones and select ACC college basketball. If you have anything that might fit, I'd love to take a look.

Also, my 1971 collection does often lead me and fellow member Mike Knapp (71buc) to the same tickets, but he and I play well together and help each other out. For 1971 Pirates tickets, you should always give him the first shot!
