Prizm basketball--Zion Williamson--1986 fleer Bsk
 

A collector friend was buying 2019-20 Prizm basketball, and complaining there wasn't anyone to trade to help build his set. I happened to be at Walmart when the stock person was stocking Prizm basketball. I bought it and for fun opened a few boxes. In one box was a Zion Williamson RC silver. I was shocked at the response to buy this card!

I can remember seeing 86 fleer basketball on the shelves for around 12.00 box.In fact the local candy company offered employees boxes at 6.00 box--no buyers so the company returned 3 sealed cases back to Fleer for credit--yes I could have bought those cases but who wanted it?

My dad was in the candy business,,we got topps direct ,,still have some nice old boxes and cellos etc,,one morning my dad says we got new basketball cards fleer ,,please put stickers with price on boxes,,i did,$12.00 a box ,,think we sold one ,,my dad gave the boxes to the cops and some bodega owners for free,,,man to go back in time.

That's weird. where I was they were in a McCrory store, and they had a whole display of them. Bought a few packs, liked them, went back maybe 10 days later, all gone.
