HGA Grading

I predict they will take over the modern market. The younger generation will love their slabs. I watched a bunch of Youtube video's about them last night. My son-in-law is already submitting cards to them today (on the waiting list, I guess).

I looked at comp's of recent sales vs. PSA. HGA 9.5's sold for just a little less than PSA 10's. In the end, we all know it's still about the resale value to most of us.

I read a thread about HGA on blowoutcards. It started with a lot of skepticism but by the end of the thread, most were talking about submitting cards to them.

If I were CSG I would re-consider their labels and possibly offer the same options. I introduced both CSG and HGA to my son-in-law and he didn't give CSG a 2nd look.

Again, I know a lot of the old-timers don't like all of this slab talk but I'm not one of them. I have to admit, I will be looking through my cards this weekend just to try and find some to send to them.

I'm a relative neophyte, but it seems like PSA is making a lot of people unhappy with their wait times and prices. I think it's natural that at least some of those people will seek other alternatives. As long as the people going to HGA don't have similar experiences to those who submit to PSA, it seems likely that they'll at least get a foothold in the industry.

The look of their slabs is very appealing.
