M. Jordan 1986 Fleer PSA 10

One is at true auction right now on eBay: Jordan 1986 Fleer PSA 10

I've added this one to my watchlist just to see where it ends.

Since the Goldin record breaking sale of $738,000 these have come back down a little with last few sales. What do you think the main reason for that was?

When (if ever) do you think this card will break through the $1,000,000 threshold?

Pwcc and true auction....in the same sentence!

Oxymoron, at least in some cases, no?

And it's one of those 10s that looks 60/40 at best L/R in thumbnails. With as incredibly tough as PSA can be, I can never understand why their "guidelines" are set to give some of those a 10.

It'd make me really hesitate to buy a $500 10, much less a $500 k one

I've been patiently playing the waiting game. My theory is that everyone who just had to have a Jordan probably has one now, or will soon. Then demand will drop off and hopefully I can pick up a nice mid-grade example.

Darn, I was hoping I was the only one who had that strategy.

1 - I think the fact that the supply of PSA Jordan 10's being 300+ examples exerts significant downward price pressure.
2 - I don't see the card breaking 1M.
