i actually bought a item and caught it before i paid , didnt look close enough , then went to look at what else he had and there they were joe delaney , sean taylor, all the guys who have died young the past 60 years , emailed him and like jose said he picks them up at garage sales. but his buddy bought some stuff from me and psa failed all of them. interesting since i havent sold anything not certed but it is our boy or at the least some of his handiwork, i checked us_caine and he seems to have stopped listing autographs and moved into cards, no doubt they are trimmed ones he is slipping by, hard to keep a good crook down

khw 10-10-2016 08:53 PM

notice the most recent sales no autographs , go back to oldest sales and look at that crap , some of the most tough signed ball cards of long deceased players mixed in with the pucketts paytons boyers floods etc , psa really started to catch them jsa and sgc not so much

Kirk,
I got in his grill pretty good via email under his uscaine id. He denied he was Jose, but said he knew him along with some other lies. I knew it was him from his first response. I really wish I was closer to northern CA. Jason

If you have good documentation see if you can find some local LE.
In my experiences sometimes local LE will go after these guys.

Not so easy Richard. He works for the Sheriff's Office there.

You'd think that would make it easier, believe me it doesnt. I went through it in with someone in Wisconsin. The Sheriff actually showed up, in uniform, during his shift. My guess was to intimidate the Magistrate as well as the Judge once it went to trial. Final decision:

Although the card was sold as autographed, since the seller said "didn't know" if it was real, he is not responsible.

Works for the office or is a cop/sheriff??
As a civilian employee maybe they would not care so much.
If he is buying forgeries from a supplier there should be some "trail" that he has left behind. Checks to the forger or regular big cash withdrawals from his bank.
If he is forging himself then he does not have the "I didn't know it was bad" defense.
There are ways, it all depends on getting LE involved.
Good luck.

I appreciate the suggestions, but I am very familiar with the legal system. I believe he is a deputy with the sheriff's office in Napa. I also believe he is the one doing to forging and have notified his supervisor in a prior email. Because he is still doing it, I may resend and CC the DA, AG office, and the sheriff in that jurisdiction.

Tijero again

If you are unfamiliar with this guy, please view his current items. He is getting very good at some of them and has obviously snuck some by certain authentication companies. See link below for Puckett rookie "signed"

Maybe the best thing to do with guys like this is buy one of their $1.50 cards and then post feedback that it was a fake. Private communications I am sure will go nowhere.

lloks like EBAY took himm down

A guy at SCN reported him to EBAY and has called the FBI in the Bay Area to investigate. They are trying to get a solid case evidently to nail him.
