Prewar autograph cards...

Does anyone know where I can buy prewar autographed baseball cards? I dont have a big budget but havent been able to find any on the bay or on the BST. I just wanted to add a few to my collection. Thanks!

If you are patient...

...you will occasionally find pre-WWI autographed cards on ebay or in the regular pre-war card auctions, many of which advertise on this website. As suggested above, if you are content with a T206 signed by Marquard, you should be able to find one in an auction within 6 months or so. The price will vary depending on condition, like everything else.

Autographed cards issued between WWI and WWII are quite plentiful, as many of those players lived into the halcyon days of autograph shows of the 1980s and 90s.

eBay

There are almost always signed pre-war BB cards on eBay.. just search in the Sports Memorabilia section, under autographs, and check out the sub-category of "trading cards" and you'll see many pop up... quite a few recent ones, but there are usually a bunch pre-WWII. Not all are authenticated, so watch out... I've seen many signed Goudeys, Play Balls, Diamond Stars there... if you spot any 41 PBs signed there, please let me know.... watch out for signed reprints, they abound there, too!!!
