A Bit OT 1996 Legends Of The Negro Leagues Playing Cards
Posted By: <b>Jeff</b><p>I realize that this is no where near to being what is usually discussed on here but I find that the people on here are the best at helping out others.<br /><br />I have picked up several of these sets.<br /><br /><a href="http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jsp?forum=83&thread=410437197&modified=1106 012109134" target="_new" rel="nofollow">http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jsp?forum=83&thread=410437197&modified=1106 012109134</a><br /><br />The last reference that I have on these is from the 2002 Standard Catalog Of Baseball and it says that no 2 of diamonds was issued. But every set that I have picked up does in fact have that card. Also one of my friends also stated that their book says the same thing.<br /><br />My question is does the new Standard Catalog still say that this card was not issued? And if it does say that then any ideas as to how or why the sets I picked up have this card?<br /><br />Thank You,<br /><br />Jeff
