Set of uncut 1949 Bowman PCL cards

Hello and thank you for reading. I am new and couldn't find the rules mentioned so I hope it is okay that I am posting this. If not, I apologize in advance.

I don't really know anything about baseball cards. I recently found three strips of uncut Bowman PCL cards from 1949. In other words the large sheet of uncut cards was cut down into rows and then those rows left uncut. Many of the cards are cut poorly however there are 9 cards intact and together.

I guess I want to know what to do with these cards as I believe they may be of some value. Am I correct? I've been reading that they are pretty rare, which is really exciting! I would love to get them to someone who will actually enjoy them and of course I wouldn't mind making a few bucks as well. Is ebay the best place for something like this? Opinions and information is very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Very cool cards, do you have more? Someone on here should be able to help you pricing.

Could you also post pictures of the backs?

Whoa!

Frankly those would probably be nice items in a good, well advertised auction. A few of the Bowman and west coast guys will assuredly check in here-impressive!

Where did you find them?

The cheapest 1949 bowman pcl's on ebay right now are around 180-200 each for about good condition. The sheets are rough cut but obviously a much rarer item. I would say at minimum they'd be worth 800-1000, so the advise to contact a good auction house seems warranted. Great find

Call Brian Dwyer at Robert Edward Auctions. The items are rare and can only be fairly priced in a good auction.

Thank you all for the replies, they are very much appreciated. I've never worked with an auction house before so I'm not sure if I'm going to go that route or just list in ebay. I can't believe I found these!

Here is a pic of the backs as requested. These are the only cards I have. I'm not a collector, I just found them in a bunch of vintageyard sale papers I purchased.
