Card Defect or Photo Defect?

Auction ends shortly and I'm just curious what others think. On the back, is that defect on the card or is it a glare in the photo only? It looks like it's on the card to me, but I can't imagine it grading a 4 if it's a defect on the card. Thoughts?

Brad, I'm not sure what it is, but it could also be crud on the slab. I laughed when I read "SP" in the ebay seller's title for this card. There's nothing short print (SP) about this card! 1960 was the last year I collected cards as a kid, and I overdosed on the first two Topps series that came out. I had at least a dozen of this Yaz rookie card back then (wish I still had them!).

I certainly can't be positive, but to me it looks like remnants of a removed label or price tag from purchase.

I would hope PSA would notice that much card damage as the card should not be higher than a 1.5 is that was the actual card.

Looks like the defect is on the card...

Thanks for adding the PSA photo, I guess that clears it up.

At best it's a print defect, at worse it's missing paper. Bad look.

Does not look a print defect to me. Wonder who subbed that.

Looks like a PSA 1.5

Certainly not the best 4, but PSA sometimes notoriously doesn't care about the backs of cards.
