Posted By: <b>Adam J. Baxter</b><p>Hi Patrick,<br /> I'm not really a type collector, but I do about a 3-6 searches on Ebay a day, so I get to see a lot of what's out there. Accounting just for Ebay, the ones that seem to come up the least are T208 and D359's. So your probably right where those are concerned. HRK's don't show up on Ebay too often anymore and the same was true of D310's until recently. I've seen more than a couple examples of D322,D311, D304, E90-2, and T222 come up for sale over the past year or two. Not too sure about E104.

Posted By: <b>robert a</b><p>e104 type 3s are also pretty difficult. <br />the other two types aren;t so much as types.<br /><br />I agree with t208 and d359 being the toughest.<br />d359 can be acquired as a type.<br />t208 may not be found for years at a time.

Cardinet Candy Oakland Oaks (The only ones I've ever seen were on this Forum. A few board members who own examples posted some pics of them awhile back. I've never seen one anywhere else.)

Posted By: <b>Greg Ecklund</b><p>T222's are fairly easy to find if you are looking to buy a single example for a type collection...there are one or two going on EBay most of the time. <br /><br />If you are looking for a specific player or looking to complete the set, some cards almost never turn up and it would be a different story.

In some sense, it is an overprint, but in another sense, it is a completely separate issue, as it is a baking overprint on a (previously) candy issue.<br /><br />

It's a fairly small purple overprint. I don't remember a single Old Put on ebay in the last few years and only a few in mastro, lipset, sloate etc. auctions.<br />Also, I think the D311s are a heckuva lot tougher than most think. It took me several years to find this card; I got it at last year's National. I recall seeing only 2-3 others in 30 years of collecting. <br /><br />Coincidentally, I recently picked up some strip cards that match this set style including one that matches exactly with its exhibit big brother. So, my new holy grail is a Thorpe strip card matching this one.
