Historical Event Tickets in the Pandemic

I thought this may be a good topic of discussion for those that collect tickets and stubs from historical events in sports. As the sports world begins play again soon, with no fans, what will happen if there is a significant historical event. What is there is a perfect game, A no hitter, Albert Pujols hits #660 and 661, Miguel Cabrera hits 500. There will be no tickets or stubs for these games. That is only baseball. There are possible milestones in the NBA, NHL and NFL as well. Looking forward to people's opinions. Jeff W

Physical tickets are getting harder and harder to come by before the pandemic anyway. My Red Sox season tickets were converted to digital only last season, and I have to pay an extra $40 to get physical tickets for my Celtics season tickets. Teams have multiple reasons to move away from physical ticketing, so the opportunities to have tickets for these events already was shrinking, and this could be the thing that pushes teams to go further into a digital-only world.

The Patriots just announced that if fans are allowed into football games this year, it would be via digital ticketing only, and no physical tickets would be issued. I expect this will become more of a norm going forward.
